| The Production Manager is responsible for managing production lines, operations and Spervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for supervision of production operations, personnel, and safety for specific area/lines.
· Responsible for implementing the production plan.
· Responsible for resolving maintenance issues.
· Directly supervise, train, and evaluate employees.
· Communication and coordinate activities with other shift supervisory staff and Operations Manager ensuring smooth production work transitions.
· Actively monitor document and work to improve production issues facility wide.
· Assist with audits as needed.
· Make proactive recommendations and offer solutions to the Production System Manager to improve output and efficiencies.
· Additional responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
5+ plus years experience in a FOOD manufacturing environment.
Bi-lingual (Spanish- English) would be helpful but NOT required.
BS degree preferred, but not required if applicant has 5+ years food manufacturing experience.
Ability to work overtime and in a fast paced work environment.
Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
Continuous improvement experience is a plus. |
