| Oversee entire Quality efforts for value added dry ingredient producer, supplying Fortune 500 companies for Nutritional and Health Supplements, Nutraceutical, Functional Ingredients, Cereal, Baking, Confectionary, Snacks, Baby Food, Dairy, Beverage, Seasonings, Soups, Sauces, Meats and Poultry industries.
Oversee and spearhead all efforts to minimize food safety issues
to acceptable levels.
Develop HACCP plans, Testing (environmental, raw material, in-line, finished goods), auditing process and plant training.
Build a "total quality" culture and train appropriately.
Oversee documentation, information collection and reporting and system
Development. Interface with production, engineering and sanitation. Interface with Sales, R&D on new projects and with Purchasing on raw material specifications.
Oversee regulatory and 3rd party compliance (FDA, AIB, Kosher, SQF, OSHA, policies, paperwork and training).
Qualifications:
BS – Any related Science.
5+ years Quality Management Leadership
Wide range of ingredient experience.
Industry Quality / Regulatory Certifications (HACCP, AIB, SQF). |
